ARE CHINA AND INDIA SIMILAR COUNTRIES?

To talk about China and India we have to think first in their population that locate those two countries as a big part of the world. China and India have characterized for their growing population and because they have been considered two countries that in the XXI century, have taken more and more relevance due to their high economic growth. Parallel with the high Demographic growth the two countries have many things in common, factors like the production and manufacturing for many remarkable brands, offshoring and outsourcing for western companies is a growing tendency in the current century. Both countries still have to struggle with their past, in the case of China, its insertion to the world after the revolution, the distribution of wealth, the social services, pollution vs industrialization, the quality of its products that become a downside when appraising the country and in the case of India, the integration of rural and urban areas, the balance of prosperity vs wellbeing, issues of infrastructure make India compatible with China in some aspects, India has specialized in services and the development of software, while China Is more inserted into manufacturing for Big brands and the development and adaptation of that technology by industries to satisfy the demand of local Consumers at low prices. In terms of economic growth, China has been cooling down its economic growth to be similar to the Indian one but in terms of inflation rates they are not similar, In the case of China it is around 3% And in the case of India it is 7%. In summary, those countries may be similar, they may have a similar demography, they may be grouped in the so-called BRIC’S and they may have good economic growth but they are different in some other topics such as: the type of industry that they develop, the geographical extension, the natural resources they possess, the historic past and some others that make them two different countries although we associate emerging markets with countries featuring the same characteristics.
